Title: Lock Removal

Can someone give me some help on removing the lock from the trunk handle on my 51 Special?  I have the handle off of the car but cannot figure out how to get the lock out of it.

If you have the key for the lock turn the handle until you can insert a paper clip in the small hole next to the lock.  Put some lock-eze in the keyway and the small hole.  You may have to jiggle the handle until the paper clip slips further down into the small hole.  This should allow you to pull the lock out with the key in the lock.  A locksmith can do it for you too with little expense.  Good luck!

Thanks Gordie.  I do not have the key so it is off to the locksmith I guess.
