1953 KAISER DRAGON FOR SALE. CAR IS IN RESTORABLE CONDITION. CAR HAS RUST IN THE NORMAL SPOTS FOR A KAISER BUT IS COMPLETE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A BROKEN TAIL LIGHT. SHOWS 25K MILES WHICH I BELIEVE TO BE ACCURATE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING: LICENSE PLATES ON THE CAR WERE FROM 1961, RUBBER ON PEDALS IS NOT WORN, HEADLINER IS IN GREAT SHAPE, ORIGINAL TIRES AND ORIGINAL SPARE IN THE TRUNK THAT LOOKS TO BE NEVER USED, CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE FOR MANY YEARS. CAR HAS 888/999 PAINT/TRIM TORQUOISE WITH BROWN LEATHER INTERIOR. IT HAS REAR RADIO SPEAKER REAR ASHTRAY, POWER STEERING ETC. I PLANNED TO RESOTRE IT WITH MY SON, BUT THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN NOW. IF YOU WANT MORE INFORMATION LET ME KNOW. CAR IS AVALIABLE FOR VIEWING IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. THOUGHT I WOULD LIST IT HERE BEFORE PUTTING IT ON EBAY. PICTURES UPON REQUEST. BEST OFFER.

Please note that I have some familiarity with the car. It is either one of the original "six pack" show dragons that K-F made up for the 1953 Auto Show circuit or it was a seventh that was made special order by the factory after the first 6 were produced. I tried to get the owner in contact with Jerry Johnson who has a restored example of the lot.
If it is one of the 6 show cars, the door post serial number will show K530 followed by X1 through X5 (my dad had X6 which was set up with 1954 Kaiser front cowl and tail lights, along with a blower on the 226; this appeared to be done at the factory garage as was the only known 1953 Kaiser Manhattan 4-door Traveler--another show special--has the same revisions; Dad had it stored and after his death we found the frame too badly rotted out to be restored).
