Title: WANTED: Speedometer Cable for 1949 Kaiser Deluxe

The speedometer cable on my 1949 Kaiser Deluxe broke and I am in now in search of another one. Does anyone have any ideas for a good source?

You might try NAPA for a universal that can be cut to length then the end put on.  With the old cable out clean the housing and relube with a light grease or use the spray graphite.  If you blow it out using an air compressor make provisions to not make a mess on the inside of the car. Learned the hard way.  Just a thought.

the NAPA# for 49-50 with overdrive speeedometer cable is NAPA#6151606
