I need the part number for the accelerator pedal shaft BOOT ( between the pedal and floorboard) I understand International p/u's used the same thing.I want the interior to be complete as with the K keys. can anyone help? I found an ?original ? in the car i'm overhauling now but no p/n. and the hole in the floorboard is oval and the part i have was glued to the floorboard and the flange is round.

Richard, the KF part number is 201908. It is the same for 47-55 Kaisers, HJ, and Darrin. I've been selling them for years on my catalog www.tarheelkf.com.
Current price is $19.50 plus $5 shipping and handling. They fit perfectly and last forever.
Hope this helps...Mike

Actually, I believe I had asked previously if this item could be added to your interchange list.

HI, Yes I can add it to the p/l pencilled in as i have to sell 30 more before another printing when things get added or deleted , I only sell 2 per month

mike , are there any other items members have had reproduced that can be added??

I'm missing mine and I never knew there was supposed to be a boot there. Ijust have a hole. I will have to get one, but my cars are in storage now while I'm abroad.

The gas pedal rod boot that came on your Kaiser car" all years" had 2 flanges and was semi oval in design for the hole, one flange went into the engine compartment the other stayed in the passenger compartment. the boots that Tarheelkf.com has is generic and slips the single flange between the carpet and the floorboard. The generic boot in my experience was better as the original was of RUBBER and the heat and oil destroyed it. I have 3 of the generic boots coming.

The International Harvester part number on accelerator rod boot is 86543R2. It is currently available but when the existing inventory is depleted it will not be restocked. I was quoted $12.81 each today.
