There are all kinds of material around relating to Kaiser-Frazer; I mean original materials done when the cars were new.  There are a variety of television commercials, for example ranging from late 1947 into the 1954 model year.  There are TV programs sponsored by Kaiser-Frazer.  There's even a portion of a DuMont network TV program about businesses in America that included Kaiser-Frazer with an interview between the host and Edgar Kaiser.   Additionally, there is the original raw footage of a HJ at the GM Proving Grounds being put through its paces.  Pieces of the raw footage was used during the 1951 model year in various K-F commercials.

I could put out a good two hours worth of Kaiser-Frazer related original TV materials if I thought people would be interested.

Suggested materials:

Fall 1950 ELLERY QUEEN show.  Has opening billboard for Kaiser-Frazer Dealers, no other commercials  0.5 hours

Fall 1951 ELLERY QUEEN show.  Has opening billboard for Kaiser-Frazer and Dealers, 1 HJ commercial, 1 Kaiser commercial and a Kaiser-Frazer dealers tag commercial.  ending cut but has DuMont network ID    0.5 hours

WORD OF HONOR - approx. half-hour public service TV program about teenage driving.  Star car is 1952 Kaiser Manhattan.  Also showcases the FATHER-TO-SON and DAD TO DAUGHTER safe driving agreements available at Kaiser-Frazer and Kaiser-Willys dealers. approx 0.5 hours

Segment of MEET THE BOSS, August 1952,  Company profiled in the segment is Kaiser-Frazer, showing bits of production line activities and the host interviews Edgar Kaiser about K-F and the Kaiser industrial operations  10 minutes or so

Assortment of Kaiser-Frazer & retlated ads; 1 1947 filmed commercial, 1 1952 HJ commercial (shows THRILLCADE stunts), 1 combination 1952 Kaiser Manhattan and 1952 Henry J Corsair ad, 3 1953 Kaiser Manhattan ads, 6 1953 Henry J ads and 1954 auto-lite ad featuring 1954 Kaiser with 'power on demand' from radio program overlaid on silent TV ad; copy is in sync with film (but they were not intended to be together...I did this in late 1970's after I got my first VCR).

The raw film footage from the GM test track.

Total run time approx 2 hours.

This is what I ment when I said it could be done.

Several years ago, one of the vehicles profiled in a TV series was Kaiser-Frazer; they shot footage and talked to people at the National Convention the year it was in Auburn IN.

Too bad they never bothered to fact check .............
