Title: DARRIN IN MOVIE
Post by: Terry T on January 14, 2012, 02:51:01 AM
In IMBD site there is a new posting of pics of a Darrin in a 1956 movie "Female Jungle".
Looks to be a B- grade flick.
This is a new one on me!

Not the regular movie IMDB.com, but the Internet Movie Car Data Base which is at the slightly different www.IMCDB.org   Watch the 'org'--I lost track of it for some time because I forgot to try that! ;)

Although it was not listed in the index you mentioned, I believe the Kaiser Darrin was shown in
the 1954/55 movie "Johnny Dark" with Piper Laurie and Tony Curtis. Someone in the KFOC had
a copy of this movie if I remember correctly. It was a road race movie showing  the Darrin and
the Willys Wildfire and other exotic (for the time) cars racing.

I've seen Johnny Dark, and I don't remember a Darrin in it, although there are a bunch of rare and unknown cars other than the Woodill (I have seen a Woodill up close and personal--lovingly restored by master crasftsmen.

I think Rick Kamen has the movie.
