http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1947-50-Kaiser-Radiator-Grille-Panel-/230526169099?hash=item35ac6e300b&item=230526169099&pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
Is this the piece that the grille is mounted to and is it correctly described as applicable to 47-50 or just 47-48?

Part # 201555 is NOT in the 1949 Illustrated Parts Book. The 1948 illustrated book lists the item for 1947-48 Kaisers, all models. The Frazer version is chrome plated and has a different part number.
This is an example of what I have repeatedly said about support materials...you need to have the parts book for your car along with the factory shop manual (except for 1954-55 Kaisers and the Kaiser-Darrin: a regular shop manual for these cars never existed, just service bulletins and use of other existing K-F service manuals in combination).

A good policy to follow is never trust an ebay seller. Do your homework first.

I don't trust ebay. That's why I posted here. I would think that piece doesn't rust too bad and unless a persons is dented badly, there isn't much need for one. Still, appears to be NOS and fairly priced for back stock. I just don't own a 47-48 Kaiser Special and don't plan to.
