How many 51 Vagabonds did they make? This will be interesting to see if anyone bids because if not the seller states it is going to the crusher and he has priced accordingly.
Seller also has a 51 Frazer. Wonder if he is a KFOCI member?

A total of 2,951 Vagabonds were produced between Long Beach CA assembly and Willow Run MI assembly (monthly break out will be found in the next edition of KFOCI HANDBOOK). 91 were California assembled, 2860 were done at Willow Run. This is less than 1 car per franchised dealer; the last 23 were assembled at Willow Run in June 1950.
For condition, unless there is a problem with the frame, the price is right. Too bad I am in New York State now and Barbara has her heart set on a Henry J.

Those cars are about 80 miles from me. Looks like there's enough Minnesota rust on them to keep me away regardless. I don't recall seeing them but I do know there were two in the bulletin for sale in MN a few years back and it seems to me one was a Vagabond.

Now that the Ford Duratec V-6 program is ended (and so is Ford's Cleveland Engine Plant #2) I have been transferred by Nemak to the post of Resident Engineer at General Motors Tonawanda NY Engine Plant #1 (the facility on the River Road side of the grounds). I will handle the L-850 and the new GEN V V-8 program. This looks like this will be permanent rather than temporary. I go home on weekends at present. If this will indeed be permanent, Barbara and I will be looking at apartments and move up here.

I was surprised so many 51 Vagabonds were manufactured. Being a top of the line model for a utility model. I figured most would be Travelers.
This is a tough one for me. I want a Traveler or Vagabond project. Being one who typically purchases top of the line projects, a 51 Vagabond fits the bill but I am not a fan of the funky grille, especially when I like the 49 Frazer grille so much.
I have seen a lot of 51 Frazers either sedans or Vagabonds in dark green with tan leather interior. I hope someone bids because otherwise he may just follow through on crushing them
