from time to time I MAY LOCK the topic because its for looking at... and i don't / won't need any input.
it seams like around here there's a lot of (nobody reads all of the thread...) and just simply have
the need to bibble babble ...

It is supposed to be a stylized version of Mr. Kaiser's signature as I understand it.

I doubt the concept of "font" was known or understood by anyone in 1950 when the car was introduced. It is HJK's signature as it's at the end of all the messages he delivers in the sales brochures and owner's manuals.

Point of interest...
The concept of Fonts and Sizes for printing purposes was known back in 1950 but per the state of various technologies at the time, this was normally the domain of professional printers and typesetters. The fonts and other info used back then is the common stuff we all use today with our computers and printers.

I guess that's what I was trying to say Jack. The use of the word "anyone" in my previous post was to suggest, "very few" as fonts and printing in general was a bit esoteric in 1950.

I want to try and make up the outside scripts and wonder if someone would trace the letters on paper of the front and rear and be able to send me the tracings. Here is a link to the HAMB where a fellow makes his own script, thanks, Henry.

Thanks aloha, I will send you a pm.

Thanks a lot, will try my hand at reproducing the script, Henry.
-
Thanks but not yet, will keep you informed, Henry.

The hood script is curved and it needs to be so it's hard to say if a copy machine is the answer on that one. Good luck just the same.

Thanks aloha, I picked up the package today. I think it will work out well. I am going to see if my buddy can cut one out for me, Henry.

yer welcome
I sent EXACT script to John K in Mocksville, NC , He makes the stainless steel ones...
