Title: Greetings!
Post by: Evan Crowell on January 31, 2013, 10:00:48 PM
Hi Kf club members!

My name is Evan, and I bought a 1948 Kaiser special as my first car. I'm just learning to drive and I decided that I did not want a modern car, but something with more style and class. So I bought mine at a swap meet. I am in the middle of restoring it with my stepdad and a friend. I am excited about the club, and the car. I love the history of the car and the company. I can't wait to meet everyone at the National Meet this year.

Hi,

The 1948 Kaiser Special (K481 on the door post serial number plate) was the highest production individual model car ever produced by Kaiser-Frazer Corporation.  I am assuming that you have joined the Kaiser-Frazer Owners Club International.  Attached is the information on 1948 Kaiser Specials as found in the latest version of KFOCI HANDBOOK, a CD full of facts, figures and other information on K-F and selected willys products.
