Title: bigger sway bar
Post by: stroker70 on April 11, 2009, 08:35:18 PM
Has anyone come up with a larger diameter sway bar that fits Kaisers? Perhaps a bar from a later model car?

Kaisers equipped with power steering had a stiffer sway bar. Good luck on finding one of those. Larry

I did a quick google search and came up with this:

Both referencing the same company.

Hope this helps.

Excellent idea Weaz. Two hundred bucks is reasonable for a sway bar, let alone a custom made bar. I plan on installing radial tires on my Dragon and I don't want sqirrely handling from the combination of early power steering technology and late model radial tires. A big bubba sway bar will fix any oversteer condition that may result from that combo. I bought a 1 1/4 inch hollow tube bar made for early Shelby Mustangs that track race and put it on my 68 Ranchero with great results. It only weighs seven pounds and you can hold it in the air with one finger.
