Title: Ok to drive

If I remove the supercharger belt from my 55 will it be OK to drive  the car without the blower putting air to the carburetor box?

Yes. Just make sure all of the air inlet hoses are in place.

Thanks Mr President I just spent a ton getting my 55 rebuilt  and running and now their is a ticking sound doesn't seem to be from engine I suspect the blower all hoses are in place just thought I could remove turbo belt to isolate blower but don.t want to harm the engine

Took off thr supercharger belt that didm,t solve my problem tick has to be in the engine
