As advertised in the monthly news letter Ed Ewing is an old timer rebuilding Kaiser l-226 engines I have bought 4 from him and am very pleased with their performance and the quality parts he uses. by the way non of the engines leak like the original motors and he uses blocks that have NO cracks, he has been shipping nationally cheaper than can be done with most local shops using the same upgraded parts. he does require a new thermostat and a Clean radiator.

You also need to indicate model year type engine; there are variations between some model years

its a 1952 Kaiser Manhattan with the l6 226 supersonic

I suggest baying from Ewing or Rudy Phillips I just had mine rebuilt locally to save money and have spent a tone more than I could have if I had bought from either of those two Good luck

You might also want to check with Dale Hammon on rebuilt engines. Dale did two of them for me over the years and both turned out well.

I have my old engine and all the insides are good .I tried to remove the valve guides and broke the block.i would really like to find a used engine to put back in it.the car is in great shape and well worth putting a new engine in I don't have that kinda money for a new one.i don't want to give up on the car.but its one thing after another
