I'm trying to figure out what the different between the maroon color ("cardinal red" I think) and "dubenne" (spelling?)...It looks like the maroon is a deep red, where the dubenne is an allmost black, or dark black cherry color. Can some one clear this up for me please, or send a color for me to see. I know computer monitors show colors different.
Thanks, Will in Whittier

I tried to get as accurate a representation of the two colors side by side for you. Unfortunatley, the flash from the camera makes them lighter than they actually are, so please note that the colors are actually deeper and darker. The Dubonnet, paint code 155, is actually more of a black cherry color. Cardinal is paint code 110. Hope this helps(http://www.chameleoncrazy.com/junk/kfcolors.jpg)

I have a set of DuPont sheets for '49 but the Dubonnet is missing. I may be missing one page.
The Cardinal is indicated as a Metallic. Also gives 110 for the paint code.
I don't know if the Dubonnet was metallic. Anyone?
