Need your help guys :-\
Could you give me both upper and lower radiator hoses replacement brand/part numbers ?
I'd like to install them with proper clamps too, not the garden hoses type.
Waiting for your replies, thanks as usual !!!

Late Club member John Parker gave me a tip back in the late 80's.
Buy a 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Upper Radiator Hose. Cut it in half right in the middle. One half is the upper hose for a Kaiser, and the other half is the lower hose. Lastly, take a clothes hangar, wrap it around a 2 inch pipe to form it, then slide and turn the wire into the bottom hose.
Can't help you with the hose clamps......

Willow run parts has the hoses and clamps. You can get them for less $$ at auto parts stores (NAPA) but you have to look for them under other cars and do some trimming. Result will be the same.

Guys, all your info seems to direct me towards proper hoses by what I can see on the Net. I will check the autoparts this weeks and let you know, thanks very much!

Got the CARQUEST 21794 for the lower hose and the CARQUEST 20088 for the upper one.
They are made by GATES and fit perfectly.
I think that the 73 Monte-Carlo -cut in half- would have worked too by the shape of it but it was a matter of local availability.
I would like to thank you again for helping me with this search, this forum has proven to be usefull once more!
I learn a lot by reading the different discussions among KF entousiasts, allways backed by the senior members.

Just a note of caution, if someone specifies a store and number where they got one that they know fits, it may be best to go with that. The number for the upper hose on the J at NAPA crossed to a different number at O'Reilly - I bought one at NAPA and fits perfect. Bought the O'Reilly cross-ref number and it's 3/8" shorter which is just enough for it to not fit.
