Title: Pics of "Dove" color early KF's
Post by: FrazerWill on July 24, 2009, 04:54:04 PM
Anyone have some pictures of an early KF that are painted the light yellow color, I think it's "Dove"? I'm looking for a 49-50 Manhattan but any 47-50 KF will fit the need to see how it looks. Keep the pictures as big as you can too, please.

I see the Chrysler 300 in that color that looks good...

Thanks, FrazerWill

If I'm not mistaken, the Chrysler colour you are talking about is "Cool Vanilla". It's my favourite. Gives the 300 that Bentley or Rolls look.

The color may be Flax which I recall is a pale yellow.

Flax is about the only yellow in the 1949 paint chip books but my Nason pages show a Federal Yellow which is a bright lemon yellow and is KF number B 701.  There were probably more colors in 1949 than in any other K-F year.
