Title: Wanted oil filter cannister

After months of fighting the oil cap leaking on 51 kaiser Purolater oil filter (ridged cap) I have
given up. I tried a new seal, gluing the seal in the cap, gluing two seal in the cap. I can slow
the leak, but not stop it. I am looking for NOS or good used Purolater oil filter housing and cap.
With or W/O the mounting bracket. Thanks. peck_william@hotmail.com

I have 3 NOS oil filter kits for '51 Henry J's. They have Purolator canisters with ribbed caps. I can't find a parts breakdown for them, so I'm not sure they will work.

Custom: It sure looks like the canister I have. I use a NAPA gold 1080 filter. Do you or anyone
know if the HJ used the same filter and canister in 51?
