Title: History of Ford Air Conditioning
Post by: BigDave LM6174 on September 05, 2014, 12:11:08 AM
Three brothers, Lowell, Hillo, and Maxwell invented a system of air conditioning for the first automobiles.  They went to Henry Ford with their invention.  Henry Ford offered them $2500 for the invention.  The brothers agreed to it as long as their name was on the dash of every car with a/c.  That is why every Ford has LOW, HI and MAX on their dash.

See, Everything you read on the internet must be true.

Actually, I read a pertinent quote on the internet the other day. "Don't believe everything you read on the internet." It was attributed to Abraham Lincoln.

Nobody will admit it, but you will laugh now and think of this post when you get in a friends Ford and they look at the A/C knob.
