Title: 1951 Frazer Vagabond for sale
Post by: andyddog on September 23, 2014, 11:59:20 AM
Hi,  I hope it is ok to post this here.  I have a 51 Vagabond for sale to a good home.  I do not have the resources to do a nice restoration.  I can add any information you guys think will help.

Thanks

Vagabonds. Love the front, hate the back taillights.

I think the dash is cool but I'm not fond of the body.

I agree I am not a 51 Frazer fan but they are an historically significant car for KF.

I appreciate your honest photos.  $6000 is too much for this car.  You can buy 1, 2 sometimes 4 KF's running and driving for $6000.

Hi Guys,  Sorry but I cannot do much about the style of the tail lights ;)  I appreciate any advice on how to find a new home for this car... My price was just a guess based on Frazers I had found that actually sold on the internet plus a bit because of its rarity.  The main reason for selling is to make some room and also because I don't have resources to do a proper fix up on it.  That all said I am willing to adjust the price to whatever is fair.  The car does run very nice!  :)

Thanks

Running helps a lot.  There are a lot of folks that won't look at non running cars no matter what the price.

I would market 2 ways. Run a continuous loop craigs list ad with at least 10 high resolution photos and 2 paragraphs.  Some potential buyers know vaguely of KF, but you adding some detail about why the 51 Frazer Vagabond is important, will help motivate fencer sitters.  Start high, not $6000 high.  And drop every week or so.

2. Do an ebay auction.  I have seen some pretty high bid counts on KF cars lately. See what the market is doing.  ebay auctions- there are people set up to do KF or Hudson searches only.  So it will cross their laptop quicker on ebay then craigs list

Hi Everyone,  I am listing the starting price at $4500 obo.  I will also give a discount to a KF club member.  I have been having trouble changing the start price in my classic cars ad, hopefully I will have that sorted out soon.
