Took my brake drums in to be turned yesterday. :(
Fronts are fine and being turned.
I NEED A SET OF REAR DRUMS for our 53 Willys Aero Lark.
Anyone have a pair for sale??

Hudson Jet and Nash Rambler used the same brake system 9" The drums may also be the same....have to check to know for sure....but here is a listing for those drums http://then-now-auto.com/antique-auto-parts/brake-drums-and-rotors/amc-rambler-hudson-nash/ I have a few parts sources I will post for you when I get the info ...it is in the car...so I have to get it from there

There is no interchange between Willys and Hudson/Nash drums. The Aero uses a 4 lug drum while the Jet is five. I believe the hub size (wheel fit) may differ as well.

I've got an extra set of used NORS drums, I'd' have to check what they measure.
NORS rears turn up from time to time, fronts rarely. I think the 2 wheel drive Jeep DJ3A Surrey and later postal jeeps (up to early '70's?) used the same 4 lug drums. Fronts have a slightly different offset than rears.
Are you looking for hub & drum assemblies with the drums still swedged on hubs at the studs or aftermarket drums with small lug holes for studs that have had the swedge cut flush to the hub?

If you don't find the L&R hub/drum assemblies you might want to consider cutting the factory swedges that are holding your drums to the hubs, then you just need to look for drums to slip over your hubs/studs like on a modern car.
The knurled shoulder (pressed in part) on factory studs is a larger diameter than the threaded part of the stud and protrudes past the hub face. Original drums have a corresponding oversize hole, and that protruding shoulder is pressed down to those drums, basically riveting them to the hub

I have seen bare drums several times but they have thread sized holes. You'll either need to buy a swedge cutter http://www.goodson.com/Brake-Drum-Swedge-Cutting-Tool/ (http://www.goodson.com/Brake-Drum-Swedge-Cutting-Tool/) or modify a 5/8ths hole saw and carefully cut your swedges down so you can then use bare replacement drums.
