Title: Engine Paint color for 48 Frazer Manhattan

I am getting ready to install a rebuilt engine in my 48 Frazer Manhattan.  What color is it supposed to be?  I have seen blue and gray.  The engine in the car is a battleship gray and that is what I saw on one at the Orphan meet in ypsilanti, however i have also seen a number of 48's with a blue engine.

Your car should have a gray engine. Blue was common to rebuilders back in the day, Sears being the biggest seller of rebuilts.

thanks Joe for the reply.  Anybody have a paint code that I can get mixed at local supplier?
