I recently saw a Kaiser Frazer stadium blanket offered on eBay and had never seen one before. It is a large six by six foot three toned grey and white all wool blanket made by Horner Woolen Mills of Eaton Rapids. MI and it has a 5 by nine inch grey and blue patch sewn on it that says "Frazer Manhattan Wedgwood" My 1948 Frazer Manhattan is two toned Wedgewood blue so it makes a nice accessory for it. Has anyone seen an ad for this item? It is amazing what turns up out there!

One of those blankets appeared at a national meet several years ago. I think I have a picture of it. It's the only one I've ever seen.

Here's the Linden Green version. Kaiser-Frazer gave away 100 a week during the $135,000 contest in late 1947 and early 1948. These were products of Fairbault Mills in Fairbault MN. I acquired it a few years ago.

That is the one and K-F apparently gave away 100 of these Wool Plaid Lap Robes as they called them for each of the eight separate contests. Mine is from a different woolen mill and Wedgewood is misspelled and Linden Green got its name shortened on yours. I wonder if they did all of the colors? That might be quite a task to try to collect them all. It is interesting that first prize was a Frazer sedan and second and third prizes are Kaiser sedans but they did not mention Manhattans. Thanks for sharing your information.
