Does any one have a picture of the brackets to hold the headlight trim rings in place. Mine are broken off and I would like to replace them. I just need a picture of what they are supposed to look like.
Also, we found a bulb Socket in the back of the trunk on the floor with nothing in it, just the housing. Is it supposed to be there????
Does any know if we can obtain a front clip for a Darrin? My front clip has been so damaged, it is a patchwork quilt. Mark Sorlie does not have front or back molds.

First pic is not Darrin.
Trim rings are held in place with 2 sheet metal screws that go into a small block of fiberglass mounted inside of headlight opening at the 12 and 6 o'clock locations.

There was no lighting in a Darrin trunk so the socket must have come from another car.

Does the block of fiberglass mount between the metal tabs at both the 6 and 12 o'clock positions as the pictures show??? Does that need to be made up separate and rosined in? The brackets look like something was broken off of them, in other words, there is a tab here and there but some are missing?? It doesn't make sense.

Yep, the blocks are bonded in.
No clips on rings...countersunk holes are at 6 and 12.
You must have off-brand trim rings.
