Interesting for sure.   I suspect unless there is a local Nash Club fan, it's going for scrap.  $1500 is a shot in the dark.

Looks like about a 1952.  Too bad it's a four door.  Not sure if I like the bodystyle, mostly not, but always thought I would have a post war Nash.

A friend had a 55 Statesman that I stored for a while. It was the smoothest running and driving 50s car that I've ever driven. It was a stick O/D car with the standard 6 cylinder engine in it and I recall gas mileage in the mid to upper 20s...not bad in my opinion.

This car deserves to be saved.

Statesman was the smaller full-size Nash, Ambassador was the larger. Statesman had the flathead engine, Ambassador the OHV. This one looks to be 1952 or 1953, they were so similar. 1954 looked the same but had a different grille. There's a nearly pristine 1953 Nash Ambassador in the Bill Tilden estate, looking for a new owner. I do not know the asking price yet. Send me an e-mail and I'll put you in touch.
