Title: New member,needing help 52 Manhattan

Have a number of questions, will go one a day. (maybe 2 or 3) Does the air filter have a support bracket and where does it attach and what does it look like? Also need a gas tank and fill spout, can I be helped. Phone 270-474-0122 best time aftyer 5pm central time. Thanks Muriel Tinsley

Muriel - Can you post an image of your engine? The reason I ask is because the intake/exhaust manifolds changed for 1953 which allowed an air cleaner to sit on top of the carb while the 51-52 manifolds were taller and required the aircleaner to be off set.

Here is a picture of the '51- '52 air cleaners.  Part # 16 is the support bracket.

It's like a two tyned fork which slides over the wing nut on the bottom of the air cleaner.
