Title: Steering wheel wanted for 52 Kaiser Manhattan

Starting work on the 52 and I am looking for a steering wheel in better condition then I have. I basically have a metal ring with a few bits of the original plastic left. It is a good core if I can be directed to a shop or individual who can rebuild it for us. Thanks for your assistance.

Kenn, does your car have the hard rubber or Tentite plastic wheel? The rubber unit can be repaired and painted to look like new. The Tenite wheel is a tougher restore and is probably easier to replace. The club remanufactured the latter several years ago and there may be a few available....I don't know of any at the moment. If you haven't already, try placing a want ad in the news bulletin.

I have the  Tenite wheel. Thanks for the information.
