I just watched a show on the Velocity channel called Desert Salvage when they restore cars from the 40's 50' 60's etc. This
place is called the Phoenix Desert Auto Salvage and said they have 100 acres and 10,000 cars. A guy was walking around
looking for parts for his '56 Packard and it looked like a Kaiser in the background. Does the Club know of this place and has
anyone been there?

Was it Desert Valley Auto Parts? http://www.dvap.com/ (http://www.dvap.com/)

r1lark: You are right. Their shirts say DVAP.

That looks like a great place - but I bet there are a bunch of snakes hiding in those cars!

Don't know if it was staged or not, but on one episode they removed two large rattlesnakes from a car. Any yard that size would have to have a few K-F product.

The first time I drove Buckeye road in, through and a long way out of Phoenix, I thought it was the longest stretch of auto related junk yards, radiator shops and deserted gas stations I had ever seen!

On their website I saw a '53 Kaiser Manhattan 2-door and all the wide trim looked there. Rare items. They
must have more KF stuff.

They can be quite high$$ on some parts their number is 800-798-2465 they do ship parts. I have had good dealings with them they have yards across AZ.
