Wanted: I'm new to K ownership so don't know what is out there in NOS parts. My car is a '51 K Deluxe coupe.
Would be interested in the following NOS:
top grille bar
pair of rear bumper guards
pair of wiper transmissions
trunk ornament lift handle assembly
pair tail lamp chrome housings
pair tail lamp lenses
pair park lamp chrome bezels
Also, this REAR bumper was replated but in straightening they made one corner of it stick out away from the body a couple extra inches. I'd like to find another very straight bumper and have it properly chromed. Anyone in central Texas perhaps that I can pick it up?
Thanks.

Does your car have vacuum or electric wipers? The wiper transmissions differ between the two. Being a Deluxe it should have electric but some of the early 51s used vacuum (I had one).

Wayne,
I have the parking light bezels, tail lamp lenses, and left tail lamp housing.
Showing some shelf wear though. I'll send them tomorrow.
Rudy Phillips 760-789-3608 and Larry Smith 563-322-8175 have NOS K-F parts.

My computer went down and is in for repairs. Bear with me and I will respond to notes above and messages I received. Thanks.

Howdy, Computer is repaired.
Have already received the parts from "custom" mentioned above.
Jake, I am interested in your one bumper guard and will keep looking for the second. Price and shipping to 78028?
Joe Frazer, the car has electric wipers. I did find the originals in the bottom of one of the parts bins (came w/ car) and after much cleaning they should be fine to use on the car.
Thank you gentlemen.

StillOutThere: I have a NOS bumper guard for the 51 Kaiser Deluxe. It is for the RR or LF as you stand behind the car. I
also have a good used bumper for the 51.

Custom, or anyone else, I'm not familiar with these type guards. They require some special sort of carriage bolt to mount them??? Seller doesn't say whether it is right or left or front or rear. My "impression" from the pictures is left front or right rear. Does this carriage bolt type differ in stamping from the guards which have internal braces with welded in bolts?
Thanks for schooling this newbie.

This is a photo of the front of my car currently.
I think the bumper and torpedo guards are correct for the car.
The Wings are probably '52 and later type but I rather like them and they can stay where they are.

Neither of the above two photo posts are like my car. They are two door sedans. Mine is a coupe.
However I would like to get the door sill plates out of them for my coupe !

I have an NOS front hood medallion. The chrome does have some light/small pitting but would sell for $40 which includes shipping. If interested, I'd be glad to send some photos if you want to see first...send me an e-mail: mbfleming@aol.com

The next 'need" this car has is a left rear (same as right front) Deluxe bumper guard. Just received and installed a NOS right rear (thanks Bill Peck). NOS or excellent used is desired. I will be re-plating bumper and guards all at once after picking up a bumper I've been offered.

The 1951 cars used a clear tip and barrel. The 1952 Virginians used a black tip and barrel. The "real" 1952 cars used a different hood ornament.

When discussion posts are added to an original topic that have nothing to do with, in this case, the fact that I am looking for parts for my car, it makes it quite difficult to get responses FOR PARTS because readers would have to go searching up through the posts to find MY NEEDS.
Its generally called HIJACKING a thread. The person who started the thread and needs some help (ME!) doesn't appreciate it. You guys go discuss hood ornament plastic color somewhere else. Also this thread was not the place to sell hood medallions.
So, I'm done with this thread. I'll start another trying to find the bumper guard I need.
