Title: data plate 6 cylinder Vagabond 1952
Post by: Hillfolk on June 02, 2015, 09:17:04 AM
On the data plate on the top of the firewall...At the very bottom of the plate is embossed the following .... BODY NUMBER.... 2 .... What does this indicate? Does this appear on all cars? Does it indicate a numerical sequence? The registration folks at KFOCI do not know what it means....They indicated that it may be a mistake. Any help in solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Hillfolk

If you checked the General Information Section of KFOCI HANDBOOK (which is a perk for joining the KFOCI as a regular or life member) you would find a translation for numbers on the large data plate and what special notations on the door post serial number plate mean.

Put up a picture; it could be a stray mark depending on where it is located.

CUSTOM...please take your post off.   The material on KFOCI HANDBOOK's CD is not intended to be posted on this or any other site!  The material is copyright with a free use provision to members for personal use only.  Non-members are not to have access to the material.  Otherwise, why join the club if you give it away???

You have put a sizeable amount of material on the CD at risk of further use as long as the attachment is up.

Didn't mean to infringe on copyrighted material. My bad.

Just trying to help answer his question.
