Title: KFOCI Website Update
Post by: Chris Luecht on February 21, 2008, 02:24:03 PM
Hi everyone,

Just a note to let you know that the front page of the KFOCI website has been updated and given a facelift.  For now, only the front page is new, and still links to the old pages, but over the course of the next few weeks, these will all be changed over to a newer format.  Take a look at http://www.kfclub.com    There are finally some nice pictures of our KF cars on the front page, and will eventually be located throughout the site.  You can also see the grand schedule of events.  There is plenty more to come, so keep an eye out.  Hope you all enjoy the new version of the KFOCI site.
Best regards,
Chris

It sure does take a bunch of time, but once it is completed, the website will be a valuable asset to the club, and hopefully more members will join the online discussion forum.  I'll keep doing my best to get the rest of the site up and will stay dedicated to this project.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Wow!!  That looks great although a couple of the large pictures would not download for me.  The pictures looked like Chicago.  Nice job!!!

Thanks Gordie,

The ones that probably did not load were the one on the top right of the page and the one on the middle right of the page?  If so, these require a Flash Player which comes installed already on most computers but not all.  Simple fix, just visit
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgiP1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash and this will allow you to download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.  Might take a little while, but then you shouldn't have any problems viewing most animated or movie like content on the internet.
Those pictures were from the 2007 National in Chicago and eventhough I have about 500+ pictures from that show, I still need more pictures of our KF cars for the website.  If you want yours included, drop me an email and I will be more than happy to put them on the website.

Those are my intentions, I know the club needs a website that is functional and easily navigated.  Also, there are a bunch of new plans for the website and they will hopfully be materializing soon.  Keep checking in for new updates.

Glad to hear that.  If anyone has nice digital photos of their cars that they would like posted on the website, I am always looking for more.  They can be emailed to me at webmaster@kfclub.com.
