The seller is another "expert" on the car he or she is trying to move.  Yes, there were 4-door Travelers in the deLuxe series in the 1953 model year, but no vagabonds.   Many were equipped with the dual-range Hydra-matic which featured the original automatic overdrive concept (as found in Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Cadillac, Nash & Hudson as well as Lincolns of same model year).

There are currently 230 watchers on the car. That tells me there are quite a few folks interested in Kaisers - especially the unusual models. Now, if half of those watching the ad turn into Kaiser owners and half of those join the club that would equate to over 50 new members. I wonder if ebay's ever been approached by car clubs to include their membership information with the sale of a collector car. Now there's a marketing opportunity!

Regarding the earlier posts - the first hatchbacks were the 1949/50 Traveler (standard model) and Vagabond (deluxe model). The Traveler, but not the Vagabond, was carried on to the '51 utility models. Vagabond was used for the 1951 Frazer utility models which were made using left over bodies from 1949/50. For the 1953 utility models, they were all Travelers - no 1953 "Vagabond" models. The latest KFOC Calendar has a picture of a "1951 Henry J Corsair Deluxe" which there were none of either so you can't really blame people for getting confused.

230 + watchers is pretty cool.
