Post by: dusty on December 09, 2015, 05:09:30 PM
Is there detailed pictures available for 226 motor stands? the ones that attach from the side of the engine? I would like to make one but the pic's i have only show one side.

Club member Dale Hammon made a stand for the K-F engines that was sturdy enough to run them out.  I was present when he ran the one he rebuilt for the 1952 Kaiser deluxe (later series) I used to have.  You may want to ask him about that one.

Miller Manufacturing Co. Kaiser Frazer's official dealer tool supplier lists a universal engine stand KF 24 but you need adapters for Henry J or Kaiser engines to make it work.  I imagine that they must be extremely hard to find.  Engine repair stands are still available from parts stores and you could probably make adapters to fit a K-F engine.
