Title: new Henry J lizard vinyl material in any color
Post by: 51HJ on February 23, 2016, 06:37:05 PM
SMS Auto Fabric in Oregon, 503 263-3535 has just finished making lizard vinyl material with the correct embossed pattern just like the original material had  . He has been working on this for the last year and has 99 yards that I know. The material  that he has been selling didn't have the pattern. But now it looks correct. Call him and tell him that Steve in Oklahoma told you about this. See pictures

Beautiful. Wouldn't it be cool to have a 3-piece made out of this material?

I wish this was available back when I bought my material. I did not think SMS would ever get this embossing die made. :(

Any idea how many yards of vinyl the HJ  F and R seats with the fold down rear seat takes?  No fabric inserts, just complete all vinyl seats will do.  The vinyl is 54" wide.  Cost just under a century per yard.

AZ_HJ...you did what you thought was right at the time.  You certainly can't believe a thing those people tell you.

Russ,

I had my seats done a while back. They are pleated. I will check to see how much it took.

To all it takes 10 yards to do the seats in a Henry J. The back seat is a fold down and both seats are pleated with no inserts.

I do not think that any HJ vinyl was called lizard.
