I have a 1951 2 door Kaiser Traveler Special 3 speed with overdrive that needed a little body work so I got that done but then I bought another car. Put new front windows in it (tinted) and new rubber in the rear window. Have new door rubber, front wing window rubber and front and rear carpet. It has been primered and sealed and is ready for paint. Also installed 4 new shocks, new 6 volt battery and 5 new radial tires. Seats OK, headliner starting to come down. Need to sell, looking for $5000, OBO.

OK, I inserted photos, please let me know if they can't be seen.

Nice looking car. Where is it located?
-
It is in Downey, Southern California.

I noticed something in the pictures. Can you please post ALL the numbers on the larger firewall body tag? I think I know something about this car that may be an interesting sales point, but I need to see the numbers. Also, can you post a picture of the back seat in the normal sitting postion, front (where you sit) and back (from the hatch)? I need to see if I am right, or if what I see is a shadow.

I think that it is a shadow too as it is not straight. The car has '53 head light rims and different wheel covers but what kind of bracket is that at the top of the front bumper guards?
-
Those aren't '53 headlight rims, they look custom to me. You're right about the bumper bracket; looks custom too.
-
The top #s are 511 0 330 1053 1 2 1
The headlight rims dont look Kaiser to me, they actually fit over the original rims and clip to them. I have not seen the bumper bridge on any other Kaiser either.

The headlight doors are a common accessory available at the time. JC Whitney sold them as did others like Western Auto. They dressed up the plain round doors on lots of different makes. The bumper bar may be of the same vintage, although I've not seen another like the one pictured.
