Maybe I can shed a little light on this . Years ago ( I don't remember exactly which year , but in the 90's ) I was at a flea market in Dothan , Al. and found some of these cards for sell by the son of the dealer who produced the car . I talked to him a good while and wound up going to his home and purchased the complete lot . He agreed to write the history of the car for me to send to the Quarterly editor but he never did . Several years later I was there again and he had some more of the cards for sell . I assumed he was not a very honest fellow and dropped the issue .
I sent the card to the fellow in Sweden and a few to club members via EBAY sells and just handed some out at the conventions . You may have seen them around .

This car looks very much like the custom that Mano Forsman built several years ago, but I think Mano's is a 1954.

I've had that card too for many years and always liked the car.  Did the son say what ever happened to the car?

He wasn't sure what happened to it . It just sort of got away . He was probable very young and not too interested in what was going on at the dealership .
