Are there any other engines that can be put into a 1951 Kaiser Special without changing the original motor mounts?

Yes, a small block Chevy can be installed without having to remove the original perches. An adapter plate is used to mount the Chevy engine to the KF mounts.

So like a 350? Where would I get these adapter plates? This is also to assume matching transmission, not the original Kaiser transmission... Correct?
