I am looking for a clean, stock, '49-'50 Kaiser Virginian. Must be a complete, presentable car, preferably with an original or mostly original interior. Prefer a car that is mechanically sound, but will consider one that has been sitting in a collection for a while. Basically, I want a car that can me made into a nice summer tourer and eventually restored. We restored a Garden Green Metallic '51 Frazer convertible that we showed at the '07 KFOCI National in Chicago, and want a car that lends itself a little better to country drives and cruise nights with our two small children. Any leads would be appreciated. kentzschoche@yahoo.com

There are several of them which will be up for auction this spring.

If you are only interested in something that rides nice and drives OK when you get it, you may not be interested in the two at auction. They may go for a decent price, but will need mechanical, body and interior restoration work.

Yeah, the two offered in the South Dakota auction are quite rough. Thanks for the reply, though. I definitely want something much nicer than a restoration project, but not necessarily a show car. We restored our '51 convertible from a scruffy New York car. The end result is great, but we're not going to go through that again.
