Hi all...I know SMS can make a headliner for my 6 bow '52 HJ, but I've had problems with them in the past, so thought I'd try WLS Headliners on the east coast. Anybody had any experience with them? They have a pattern for a 5 bow HJ, but not for a 6 bow car. What they need are the dimensions from the front glass to the 1st bow and then bow to bow dims and from the 6th bow to the rear glass. These dims need to be at the center of the roof. I don't have a headliner at all, so can't provide them. Is there anyone with a 6 bow hj that would be willing to take some measurements and send them to me. I would be greatly appreciative.

Shel, I learned something tonight. My '52 Henry J Vagabond has a 6 bow headliner. I never noticed. Anyway, here are the measurements (all down the center of the headliner:
From back edge of windshield gasket to first bow - 8"
From first bow to second bow - 13 ¼"
From second bow to third bow - 14 1/8"
From third to fourth - 7 3/4"
From fourth to fifth - 7 3/8"
From fifth to sixth - 8 ½"
If it matters from the sixth to the edge (dip in center) rear windshield is 8½"
Hope this helps

All late 51 HJ (52 vagabonds) had 6 bows. This change happen late in the production year for 51 HJ. The note on the bulletin states that earlier cars can be replaced (after the fact) with the 6 bows as well.
