Post by: fm on March 17, 2008, 01:58:21 AM
This Frazer Manhattan has been sitting in my grandparents barn since 61. I have new engine parts in boxes to go with it. I have no idea how to price this out so i am takeing the best offer, I do have a resonable idea what its worth. It has been in a barn and needs help. the hard parts are all there, the interior seats are toast. It is a project car! This is the first listing for it and I would like it to go to a good home. I do not have the time or resourses to work on it. you can contact me at kelceywoods@yahoo.com and i will send pictures. please put on your emails Frazer so i will know what the email is for. I will respond as soon as possible. The car is in shakopee, mn. It has been in my family since it was new, I inherited it.

Hello,  '48 Frazer Manhattans are very desireable cars to have but when they need a complete restoration it is very expensive and most people would rather pay more money to have a running car that they can fix as they can or buy one that is pretty well restored.  Unfortunately it costs about four times as much to restore a car than to buy a nice "driver" quality car.  When a car needs "everything" it is kind of relagated to parts car status and because this has been in your family since new it would be great if someone in the family would take pity on it and fix it up.  If there is no interest perhaps you could advertise it locally where you live and hope that someone is looking for a good project.  Shipping out of state would probably exceed the value of the car.  Good luck with it!
