Title: wanted--overdrive control cable

Does anyone have an O/D control cable for sale? not fussy about the year.

You should be concerned about proper make/year.  Cables had different part numbers and may not be readily interchangeable.

If you're not fussy, a lawn mower/snow thrower throttle cable or a hood release cable could be made to work. It's just a matter of the right length.

I haven't found a lawnmower cable that was rugged enough to be any more than barely adequate and hood release cables usually don't "push".
