Title: 1951 Frazer Manhattan Convertible - Seen Today in Ft. Myers, Florida
Post by: Geoff Hacker on January 05, 2017, 12:00:40 AM
Hi Gang...

I was visiting friends south of me today and spotted this '51 Frazer Convertible - very cool.  They told me that both cars came from Michigan recently and are in the possession of the daughter whose father owned them (deceased).

Thought you would like to see the photos.

Really nice!

By the way, just made it down the unread stack of mags to the Aug '16 issue of Hemmings Classic car.

Congrats on being featured there, interesting article!

I'm from Michigan and I was wondering did you find out the name of the daughter's father who had passed away?
Just curious.

@JFerriss....

I understand the folks from the Sunshine Region know who it is.  I'm relatively new to the region so you would have to check with them.  But....I'll ask when I see them at their January meet on January 27th.

BEst...

This top is incorrect, right? The original top had a three-piece rear window I believe. Is such a correct top even available today?

Yes the top is incorrect. The original used plastic windows so it can be easily reproduced.
