Title: Geat shift knob

The shift knob is cracked on my shifter. Is there a correct way to repair this, or do I need to locate a new one.

Rudy Philips sold new ones for years. He may still have them and if so, you might want to get one while you still can.

I mixed up some bondo, primed and painted it, and it looks new again. I hope it holds out.
