Parts For Sale & Wanted / Re: Manufacturing of parts

Someone was (or was going to) use a three-D plastic printer to try and make reproduction knobs and window cranks and hood ornaments.  Anybody know who that was / is?  Not sure if it was a person in the KFOCI group.   I'm trying to find the reproduction window crank plastic knobs and escutcheons for my 51  Henry J.

What would you guess they paid for that restoration?  I have been toying with the notion of talking with White Post for my HJ.  Does anyone in the forum have any experience with White Post?

Thank you for the explanation.  Now I understand.  I think it should be reasonably straightforward, so long as I can get a good kit.  I got all the gaskets for all the windows.  Just lately got an order from Rudy.  I plan to try SMS for the headliner.  Thanks again.

I am also preparing to install a new headliner in my 1951 Henry J.  I have the shop manual to follow.  But I don't understand what the reference is to "wire-on-binding over door opening," in paragraphs 4 and 17, page 164, of the manual.  My headliner has been out for a long time.  I have all the bows and clips.  But, perhaps I am missing the "wire-on-binding?"

Hello kfnut... could you post a picture of how your new pipe fits in the front?

Does Klassik finally have the problem resolved for your 51 Henry J exhaust system?  I need to buy a complete  system for my 51 Henry J, but do not want to take the engine out, or the body off the frame to install it.

WOW!  That is great to learn they were able to correct the problem.  I'm anxious to see the photos.  I need a complete set of pipes and muffler.  Did they use the correct diameter of pipe?

How is it going with fitting the exhaust pipe in your Henry J six?  I had been considering the same pipes from Klassik for my 51 HJ six,  but now kind of holding off  from ordering.

I also need an exhaust system for my 1951 Henry J.  I wonder if the KFOCI Manufacturing Fund could produce a correct pipe set?

I wonder if it would work to try using flex pipe, and then use it as a template for a pipe bender to make a steel pipe?

Thank you, Fid.  I will check the bulletin and contact him.
Meanwhile, anybody out there in Henry-J land have any ideas and successes on getting a pre-made headliner to install?
Many thanks to all.

Could anyone point me in the right direction for two things for my 1951 Henry J?
(1.)  Need to have a wiring harness made.  Has anybody had any success with ordering a kit from any vendors?
(2.)  Looking for a resource which can fabricate a headliner kit that I could install.  I have headliner bows and the rubber window gaskets.
Thanks for any information you may be able to provide.

I'm in Alexandria, VA.  I have thought about going to Leon's.  How are they to buy from, or deal with?

General Discussion / Re: Learn to drive car? What was it?

From my Dad in our 1951 Henry J that I'm working on.  Somehow that very  car stayed around in the family all these years.  Now I'm trying to put it road worthy condition, and hope to drive it around to the store and stuff.
