Frazer Forum / 1951 Frazer Book
« on: December 20, 2021, 08:12:08 AM »
It's here just in time for Christmas and for the FRAZER enthusiast: a new book that tells the fascinating story of perhaps the finest luxury car series of K-F, yet one that was virtually unplanned. Lavishly illustrated with a witty text, this is a must for the FRAZER and K-F enthusiast and will make a perfect gift under the tree.

It's here! And just in time for Christmas: a new book on the history of a Kaiser-Frazer product that was never originally planned for production: the 1951 Frazer. Available from Amazon, this book will delight with a copious amount of color photographs and a witty, interesting text. A perfect gift for the K-F and particularly, FRAZER, enthusiast.

Frazer Forum / Visor Removal
« on: June 06, 2019, 07:22:59 PM »
I have placed this on the Frazer page mainly because it doesn't see a great deal of activity. My question is, can the metal windshield visors added to so many Kaisers and Frazers be removed without requiring body or paint work? I seem to be in the minority but I feel this accessory detracts from the cars' overall aesthetics. I often see K-F's I might consider buying but more times than not they seem to be equipped with these contraptions. Oops, i am sure I have stepped on some toes, so I apologize ahead of posting this!

Frazer Forum / Frazer Boys in a Long Sleep?
« on: February 10, 2019, 06:52:47 PM »
I keep looking for new postings on my favorite K-F-W product, the magnificent Frazers. Are all of our owners asleep? I did not see one Frazer automobile at the most recent national meet either! I moved heaven and earth to attend for one day, and lo, there was not a single one of Joe's cars present. Just trying to stir the Frazer pot...

Frazer Forum / Joe and Henry introduce the '49 Frazer
« on: March 02, 2018, 12:55:46 PM »
I'm sure most of your Frazer Folk are very familiar with the photograph [page 70] in Langworth's book depicting Joe Frazer and Henry Kaiser shaking hands over the first 49 Kaiser [a Custom] to come off the line at Willow Run. But WAIT--just for fun, I thought that maybe they also paused to get a shot of the first 1949 Frazer that day! This watercolor is available as a 21 x 13 limited edition remarqued giclee print on premium stock. E-mail me at: jcmdc@windstream.net for further details.

Frazer Forum / 51 Frazer Vagabond in Watercolor
« on: March 02, 2018, 12:49:56 PM »
Frazer enthusiasts, attached is my new watercolor of a small turn-of-the-century railroad station on the old Atlanta and West Point line (now CSX). One of our two Central of Georgia streamliners, the Man O' War used to make its run through Madras on its Atlanta to Columbus route. The station has been purchased and is soon to be moved. I'm glad I captured it prior! The picture includes a 1951 Frazer Vagabond--hatch open--waiting for a passenger to load their luggage as the train departs for points east to Atlanta. Limited edition remarqued 22 x 13 Giclee prints on heavy premium stock are available by contacting me at: jcmdc@windstream.net.

Cars For Sale & Wanted / Wanted - 1949-51 Frazer Sedan
« on: February 10, 2018, 12:14:30 PM »
Do you have a 49-51 Frazer sedan that needs a good new home? I am looking for a car in good original or restored condition that is at least a good driver and reasonably priced. Manhattan preferred, but a standard sedan or 1951 model would certainly be of interest. I am in Palmetto, GA--Atlanta, or St. Augustine, FL. I am a KFOCI member and will do my best to exhibit the car at club functions and other venues that will expose and educate others about these fine automobiles. [I would also not turn my back on a 53-55 Kaiser meeting the same conditions].

Is there anyone aware of a K-F dealer that is essentially still in business from shifting automotive brands until the present?

Here is what KF might have considered doing if the market and the money was there in 1954.

Frazer Forum / Frazer's Frazer
« on: January 13, 2018, 08:46:58 AM »
Being a newer member, I will ask to be pardoned for asking a question that has probably been answered many times prior. In looking at some early KFOC Quarterlies, I discovered that Joe Frazer had actually offered his personal Frazer to interested members in the club. There were no takers and he "gave" it to someone else, according to a letter from Frazer that was published in a later quarterly. My questions are:

1. Do we know the details of Joe Frazer's car?
2. Do we know its whereabouts and the present owner?

Outside of articles on K-F and the two major books, does anyone know of a book-format biography of Joseph Washington Frazer?
