General Discussion / Re: 10,000 Lakes Concours d'Elegance show in MN

Fid,
thanks for the nice pictures and spending time with my father in law. He had a great time and loved talking to some old time Kaiser people. It was a really nice day with some exceptional cars (funny my AMC Pacer did not win :). Del and you were so kind to Don and he loves his Northwest Kaiser Frazer license plate topper you let me purchase. All nice Kaisers, fun to see together and have so many people stop by and ask. It was fun to show the Dragon as it is looking pretty good but not good enough to win best in show as I guess you have to have a 4 million dollar car for that :)
You and all Kaiser people are always welcome to come by my place to see some of my stuff!

This one seems to be the most difficult for me to find in the gallon tin (I guess they made it but I have never seen it).. Any of you Kasier nuts have one?

As I think a lot of you know I love the  Kaiser materials and cans. From a show a couple of year ago a pretty cool picture. I am missing a couple and would love it if I could complete the whole set. Will pay very very well for those I am missing to finish this task.
thanks to the couple of people who really helped with my quest!

Thanks for the info, it is definitely the real deal that much I am sure of but am pretty sure is will be north of 1k. I had no idea about this type of thing so I am happy for the information and appreciate it. Wish my Kaiser dealer father in law would  have picked this up for $29.95!!

If anyone has one let me know!

General Discussion / Kaiser Frazer Neon clock
« on: August 19, 2017, 04:10:32 PM »
Have a couple of questions for this knowledgeable group. I have managed to find a few posters, and many of the Kaiser tin product line (still looking for more!). I have come across an old Kaiser neon clock which I have attached the picture.

1. how rare is it?
2. A guess on value (it is in near perfect working condition).
3. If the deal does not go through does anyone have this for sale?

thanks much.

Sure looks like mine but no! If i sell my Dragon I will be looking for another wife as of all my cars she likes the Dragon the best. Now I did have two but gave the other Dragon to a friend who is going to restore it.

General Discussion / Some Pretty cool Kaiser products

Working hard the past couple of years to find all the Kaiser tin products along with every meaningful option. Getting pretty far...enjoy. It has been a lot of fun.

Help me finish!

Rob
still love my 1953 Dragon. Took home an outstanding in class at the Concours event in Minnesota this summer!

Thanks for the advise. My museum is actually 99.23% for me, and an occasional visitor. Would never charge anything for someone to come see and really of all the stuff i have (pinball machines, arcade games, advertising, sports stuff) cars are a minor part of what i have been lucky enough to collect. Now they do take up a lot of space!

As i think you all know i would love to get every tin/product that Kaiser Frazer offered. It was a great joy to me to see my father in law look at my Dragon and some of my Kaiser "stuff" and get a grin as large as I have seen from him in years. He sold Kaiser Frazers at Northwest Kaiser Frazer in Minneapolis. In fact the main reason i picked up a couple of Dragons is that he said what a beautiful car it was (and was telling the truth).

The hunt has been fun. Now looking for some original dealer posters....HELP!!

thanks

Rob
