Hi friends,
I am looking for the following for my 226:-
1. thermostat housing; and
2. front and rear throttle rods for the Hydramatic. The attached copy is for '47 to '51 and I am not sure if '54 are the same.
Thank you in advance.

A great outcome; it is always difficult purchasing from photos.  Great communication with a fellow enthusiast.

I would be interested in a good late '54 or '55 Manhattan if anyone knows of any that may be available.

This car is not for sale, but if I can get the details from the plates, I will advise so that the register can be updated.

Are you able to provide Ian's contact details or pass on my email address to him?

I have only seen the car once and the serial number is from the driver's side post; the info that I posted on this forum came from the online registry relating to the serial number.  Before (if) the sale goes through I can provide any information that you require.  I will be checking further if I can get another visit.

If I can source this Virginian or a 55 Manhattan, it is my intention to join KFOCI.

That's the one, you can tell by the dents in the rear quarter and strip as well as the horizontal bumper "rods".

This car was featured in the October 1993 Collectible Automobile.  Still waiting on a decision from the guy to sell it to me.

Is Fred Walker (the icon of Kaiser Frazers) of Monument Colorado still with us and in Monument?
I may be only 100 miles from Monument in July 2014 and I would welcome the opportunity to meet him.
