Update: Rudy did some looking and the angle of the corners were off quite a bit. He offered a refund but I wanted to try and install. After test fitting it I decided to trim the point of the lower corner just slightly. I then installed it without much trouble. I waited a day and then ended up trimming the outside of the lower corner to get it to lay down but all and all it looks OK. Close inspection will show some irregularities but very minor.

Not yet. Wanted to see if it was a common issue first.

Kaiser Forum / Rear window rubber

Hello KF world. I have another question for you guys. I test fit the front and rear window rubber seals I got from Rudy and the front on fit perfectly. The rear fits well everywhere except the lower corners. Seems like the rubber has a 90° but the window opening is quite a bit wider angle. I can probably do a little light trimming to take the point off the angle and then it will lay down if I open it up enough to fit. My question is, has anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Joe! The 7 bow arrived and it fit fairly well. Thanks for your input.

Hello all,
You might have seen that I'm building a 1951 Kaiser 2 dr. Well this weekend I went to install the headliner but when I unboxed it I found it was two listings short. I have seven bows but this headliner only has provisions for five. I bought it from Carlisle Auto Restoration in Ontario Canada. Waiting to hear back from them now but thought I would check with the Kaiser community as well.

Been making a little progress on the 51 two door. I stumbled into another project so I'm dividing time but it is getting close. https://www.flickr.com/gp/132027966@N02/0uq716

Warning!! Images could be disturbing to purist Kaiser members!! This is a 1951 Kaiser 2dr Special I purchased from a very nice gentleman in Greenwood Mo. He had done a bunch of work and it was a solid car to start. The 4dr parts car is so nice I will prob restore it back original after this one is done!  Here is a link to flicker for pics... russell luttrall shared an album with you from the Flickr app! I am the new owner of this and the 4 dr parts car which is very nice in its own right. Took it back down to the frame and double checked everything. All that had been done was done well. Finished up the chassis and remounted the body this week. Its at my buddy's place for paint now. Getting excited to get it back...
