Kaiser/Darrin scripts
« on: February 17, 2017, 11:10:11 AM »
Greetings All...working on some of the small items and hardware for the shelf...Regarding the Kaiser/Darrin scripts on the trunk, were they secured with tube nuts or thread cutting nuts?
Regards,
Noah

Thank you...flat nuts make it easier...I wouldn't have even thought about them.

I found that when you try to get the flat washers off if necessary you will scratch the paint badly on the underside of the trunk.  If the pins stick through far enough i use small rubber gromets. Not original but does save the paint.
