Henry J dash cluster

On the Henry J dash cluster,what color would the "K" be painted? I plan to restore mine on my 52! Thanks: Larry

It is my understanding it is red (w slight orange hue).

That is correct.  It's interesting that they fade to a dull yellow.

Don't know if this will help you but the visible part of Aero gauge needles fade to yellow also. I bought 2 shades of red & a safety orange at a hobby shop & mixed different count droplets till (according to the wife) I was pretty close. Statistically women have a better eye for color......... just ask them! ;D
