1947 Kaiser on eBay
« on: August 09, 2018, 09:01:47 AM »
Anyone know anything about this one? Looks good, but only 2 pictures is just poor marketing technique. Has anyone seen it?

Here are more pictures of the car.

The engine appears to be the early style with the external (rather than block mounted) oil pressure switch, stamped thermostat housing and hand-choke carburetor. It also has the hood props which tells me it's an fairly early production car.

Looks nice but still needs some work to make it totally correct. The craigslist ad lists it at a lower price - a good place to negotiate from.

I too thought it was not properly promoted on ebay considering there is only one pic of the actual exterior and that pic is not that good.
Are you sure it's the same car joefrazer? The one on ebay has 1952-55 Kaiser wheel covers on it while the CL car shows '49/'50 hub caps.
I know the '47/'48 style hub caps are getting very hard to find.  Regardless, buckeye maroon looks good on the old slabsiders.

The current ebay ad states $9900 or best offer, but there is no reserve...seems that it'll sell for the last bid at the end of the auction...unless he pulls the ad...
